Zorritos Beach is the most iconic beach resort in Tumbes. Its warm waters all year round make it the favorite beach destination for locals and visitors alike, and its boardwalk is lined with seafood restaurants where you can try freshly made Tumbes-style ceviche.
The beach is wide, gently sloping and with calm waves, ideal for families. Across from it there is a varied range of accommodations, from budget hostels to beachfront cabins.
How to get there
From downtown Tumbes, take the Panamericana Norte highway (road to Zorritos). It takes about 30 minutes by car or shared van.
